The project incorporates double-glazed units with multiple thickness configurations (24mm, 30mm, 32mm, 38.38mm, and 38.76mm), utilizing annealed, tempered, and laminated glass to meet both structural and safety requirements. Bird-safe glazing was integrated to support environmental responsibility and compliance with evolving urban standards.

To meet New York City safety regulations, the window systems include NYC DOH-approved limiters and Securistyle friction limiters (4 inches), providing secure ventilation while maintaining usability. ADA-compliant hardware was specified throughout the project to ensure accessibility across residential units.

Architectural Detailing & Installation Solutions

Miramar also demonstrates the importance of thoughtful detailing in high-rise construction. The window package includes aluminum sills, concealed hinges, wash buttons, louvers, widening profiles, and undersill profiles, all selected to support both performance and architectural integration. Mounting bracket installation methods were utilized to accommodate high-rise structural conditions and streamline on-site installation.
