The Continental
The Continental, located at 408 E Washington Ave in Madison, WI, is a ten-story high-rise condominium completed in 2023. Featuring 148 residential units and underground parking, the building combines modern design with energy efficiency.
To support performance and comfort, the project incorporates INTUS Supera windows, balcony doors, and sliding doors. The double-glazed systems use 22mm and 24mm annealed and tempered glass with SunGuard® low-E coatings and ceramic enamel accents. With a U-value of 0.25 and SHGC of 0.14, the windows contribute to reduced heat gain and increased indoor comfort. Acoustic performance is supported by STC 32 / OITC 26 sound ratings.
