North Commons at Village Hill
North Commons at Village Hill, located at 40 Village Hill Road in Northampton, MA, is a 53-unit affordable, mixed-income housing development completed in 2022. Developed by The Community Builders in collaboration with Valley Community Development, the project is PHIUS-certified, reflecting its commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability.
The building features triple-glazed tempered windows with 40mm glazing, installed using mounting brackets. These high-performance windows contribute to superior thermal insulation, reduced air infiltration (0.1 cfm/ft²), and enhanced sound performance (STC 33 / OITC 26), ensuring a comfortable living environment for residents.
