ABOUT PROJECT

Leefort Terrace Redevelopment, located at 1 Lee Fort Terrace in Salem, MA, is a mid-rise senior living facility that underwent a thoughtful renovation to improve energy performance, comfort, and building resilience. The retrofit was designed to modernize the aging structure while supporting long-term affordability and livability for its senior residents.

The building was upgraded with INTUS triple-glazed annealed and tempered windows featuring 48mm glazing and installed with aluminum flanges and sills. These high-performance window systems were chosen for their excellent thermal insulation, reduced air infiltration, and sound control – ensuring quieter, more energy-efficient interiors tailored to senior living needs.

This project reflects how INTUS Windows contributes to sustainable housing solutions by delivering durable and efficient window technologies in supportive living environments.
