Chapter at Madison
Completed in 2024, Chapter at Madison is a mid-rise student housing development located at 802 Regent Street in Madison, Wisconsin. The project integrates INTUS high-performance window systems designed to meet demanding energy, acoustic, and durability standards in multi-unit residential environments.
The building features double-glazed units with ClimaGuard® Low-E coatings, 24mm thick tempered and annealed glass, and bird-safe glazing options. The window systems provide a U-value of 0.25, SHGC of 0.25, and visible transmittance of 0.61. Air infiltration is rated at 0.1 cfm/ft², with water resistance at 10.65 psf and a design pressure of ±70.18 psf.
Acoustic performance reaches STC 39 / OITC 30, helping to create a quieter indoor environment for residents. The windows are installed using receptor systems, mounting brackets, and aluminum L-angles for secure and efficient assembly.
