Completed in 2022, Ann Rainey Apartments is a mid-rise senior living community located at 999 Howard St in Evanston, Illinois. Designed for comfort, accessibility, and sustainability, the building incorporates INTUS high-performance double-glazed windows with 22mm thickness to optimize thermal efficiency and acoustic control.
The energy-efficient window systems contribute to a U-value of 0.25, SHGC of 0.27, and a visual transmittance of 0.62 — delivering balanced daylight and solar control. With an STC rating of 32 and OITC of 26, the windows also support noise reduction, ensuring a quieter indoor environment for residents.
