2Life - Opus

2Life – Opus Newton, located at 777 Winchester Street in Newton, MA, is a mid-rise senior living community scheduled for completion in 2025. Designed to meet Passive House and LEED Gold standards, the building emphasizes energy efficiency and sustainability.​

The residence features INTUS triple-glazed annealed and tempered windows with 42mm glazing thickness, installed using mounting brackets, aluminum L-angles, and flanges. These windows provide exceptional thermal insulation (U-value: 0.15), solar heat gain control (SHGC: 0.12), and sound performance (STC 34 / OITC 26), contributing to a comfortable and energy-efficient living environment.​

As part of the One Window One Tree initiative, 777 trees were planted in connection with this project, underscoring its commitment to environmental responsibility.
