POSITION SUMMARY
The Window Estimator interprets architectural plans and specifications to create detailed and accurate commercial window proposals. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure project specifications are met, and proposals are delivered on time and without errors. The Estimator plays a crucial role in contributing to the overall success of the company's commercial projects by ensuring that all proposals align with company standards and client requirements.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Prepare accurate take-offs and proposals based on architectural drawings and specifications within an average set working hours.
Ensure a minimum of 85% productivity during the workday, maintaining focus on delivering high-quality proposals.
Meet all project deadlines, submitting proposals on time and without mistakes to avoid financial losses or project rejections.
Collaborate with the expert team to ensure that all projects are passed on without critical or major errors.
Analyze and clarify grey areas in project specifications to prevent potential discrepancies.
Use internal tools like BlueBeam, BlueScreen, WebCalc, and Zoho effectively to manage estimating tasks.
Ensure revisions are completed accurately and efficiently, with an average turnaround time of set working hours.
Maintain continuous communication with the project team to manage workload and ensure all tasks are aligned with project goals.
Participate in mandatory training and meetings to stay updated on industry standards and company procedures.
Contribute to the research and development of new products by providing insights based on project specifications.
Prepare and submit requests for information (RFI) to clarify project details with clients or internal teams.
Manage the accurate filling of building information in BlueScreen and the creation of unique project positions in WebCalc.
Ensure all project checklists are thoroughly reviewed and all proposals are submitted according to company guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Strong understanding of construction and building materials specific to commercial projects.
Commitment to quality and accuracy in all aspects of the job.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
B2 level proficiency in English.
Previous experience in estimating, particularly within the commercial window or building materials industry, is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work for extended periods at a desk, using a computer with dual monitors.
Precise hand-eye coordination for estimating accuracy.
Ability to participate in virtual or in-person meetings and training sessions.
Comfortable working under deadlines in a remote or office environment with ergonomic support.
