60 East Benton

60 East Benton is a seven-story, 81,000-square-foot multi-family building located in the heart of Chicago, IL. Completed in 2021, the project integrates modern design and high-performance building systems to meet today’s energy efficiency standards.

Outfitted with INTUS Supera fixed and awning windows, the building features both double and triple glazing with ClimaGuard® low-E coatings. Glazing thicknesses include 24mm and 42mm, using a combination of annealed and tempered glass. These window systems offer outstanding energy performance with a low U-value of 0.15 and solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) of 0.15. With sound ratings of STC 34 / OITC 29, they also contribute to improved acoustic comfort in an urban setting.

Installed using mounting brackets, the windows help deliver long-term durability and high thermal efficiency.
