About This Project

The dual branded Tetra Marriott Autograph Collection and AC Hotel Silicon Valley in Sunnyvale, CA offers a place to recharge from this high tech hub. Both hotels feature INTUS Arcade double pane fixed steel reinforced polymer windows and storefronts which will help the buildings achieve LEED certification. 

This 200,000 SF, 8 story contemporary hotel will offer 350 luxury guests rooms and an array of amenities across the 3 acre building site. The two buildings are connected by a covered open space and a third-level podium deck that serves as outdoor dining and lounge area. Public art will be displayed on the street level at a communal park and lounge area which is open to the surrounding community as well as hotel guests. The hotel will promote public transportation to guests and the structure itself is very focused on sustainability. 

In addition to INTUS’ energy efficient windows and window walls, the hotel boasts a “high efficiency HVAC energy, natural lighting, energy efficient light bulbs, and motion sensor and timed light switches in all offices, store rooms, and public restrooms, and LED Exit signs. For clean air, high efficiency air filters with a minimum efficiency reporting value (MERV) of 8 or better. The existing site trees will be preserved wherever possible through a tree preservation and removal plan. Water conservation systems include motion sensor faucets, low flow toilets and showerheads, and high efficiency dishwashers and laundry machines.”
