The PHIUS certified St. John Neumann Place II in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania provides more senior housing, a wellness center, and community room. It exceeds Enterprise Green Community standards and operating costs for the development and residents will be significantly reduces. The L-shaped building features INTUS Arcade steel reinforced triple pane polymer tilt, tilt & turn windows and storefronts.
The 52 affordable housing units are for seniors 62 and older across a 1.39 acre site. The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency awarded the project tax credits for “Innovation in Design” and the Archdiocese committed $1.5 million of its own capital and donated the land. Since it’s opening, St. John Neumann Place has been 100% occupied.
