About This Project

343 West Schiller Street is the first project in Illinois featuring INTUS Windows. Located in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood, this mixed use multifamily building will be nine stories and 105,000 SF, with 105 units and a ground floor of retail. This mid-rise project intends to attract transit oriented residents and sits just 1,000 feet from the nearest CTA stop (Chicago’s bus and train service). It will boast a green roof, interior dog run, fitness room, luxury lounge, heated indoor parking and a ninth-floor terrace complete with grills and firepits.

Designed as a nod to the classical “tripartite” philosophy with a clear base, middle, and top, it will be sustainable and energy efficient thanks in part to INTUS high performing double pane windows and doors. The lower portion consists of a typical storefront system while the mid floors are clad in a reinforced concrete “Oko Skin” panelling designed to imitate masonry. The top two levels feature a glass and zinc-like metal facade. Completion is set for spring 2020.
