SUMMARY OF POSITION

 

The Field Technician will be responsible for diagnosing problems, developing a solution, and implementing the needed repair.  A Field Technician will also be working with product development testing’s, which includes field water testing, and product support during lab testing. The successful candidate will also provide on-site installation training, field technical questions, and provide service for client’s claims. This position requires ability to travel daily. The Field Technician will report directly to Field Service Manager.

                   

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

§  Provide superior field support on INTUS Windows products by performing installation and adjustment service for new and previously installed projects

§  Train new installers who are using INTUS Windows for the first time

§  Perform the “hands-on” portion of the INTUS Certified Installer Training

§  Answer technical questions from both internal and external customers

§  Analyze improper installation situations and determine the best actions to be taken to fix any existing issue in an efficient and cost-effective manner

§  Keep team members informed as needed of customer interactions and actions taken

§  Keep the service area neat and organized

§  Provide product solutions and service in the field

§  Provide Active Claim Management reports to the Field Service Manager for processing

§  Provide Daily reports, including required actions from back office staff, to the Field Service Manager

§  Attend and oversee laboratory & field-testing procedures

§  Attend jobsite trailer meetings as it relates to window installation training, pre-delivery training, and creation of remediation plans

§  Assist clients and installers with the installation of Mock-Up windows

§  Demonstrate an understanding of our product offering, our product functionality, and how to troubleshoot product issues

§  Communicate effectively with clients, including architects, general contractors, and installers, to provide excellent customer experience

Summary of Position

 

The Accounting Manager is responsible to maintain and manage full accounting process of the company. Provides financial information to management by preparing and analyzing accounting data, prepares financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. We’re looking for an organized and driven Accounting Manager to join our growing team at our company. The Accounting Manager position will work closely with our other accountants and Senior Finance Manager and handle day-to-day operational transactions. We’re an energetic company and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organization and revitalize our record keeping and bring more organization to our day to day financials.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting including but not limited to, A/P, A/R, cash receipts, reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory, month and year-end close process to ensure general ledger account information is accurate, consistent, traceable, and auditable

·       Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employee’s hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.

·       Reconciles payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements

·       Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices

·       Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions

·       Maintains 401K bi-weekly reporting, reconciliations and proper record keeping.

·       Prepare balance sheet and profit and loss statements and other accounting schedules and reports

·       Respond to all accounting inquiries in a timely manner and with the highest level of customer service

·       Assist with financial audits and reviews performed by third parties to ensure accuracy and proper justification of financial records

·       Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed

·       Investigate and research proper accounting treatments for certain transactions as needed

·       Work with Senior Finance Manager to establish and monitor principles and practices, develop procedures to ensure effective accounting controls are in place and working effectively.

·       Prepares schedules required by external tax accountants

·       Sales tax calculation and payment

·       Nexus research for new sales tax accounts

·       Opens new sales tax account

·       1099 reports filing

·       Reviews Payment terms and participates in difficult questions related to review of Credit applications/Tax exemption/Bond verifications/

·       Lead, develop, mentor, and motivate accounting staff to maintain a high level of employee commitment and self-reliant achievement of the company goals

·       Performs other duties as assigned within department

 


Requirements

Qualifications (computer & communication skills, training, certification, etc.):

·       Strong knowledge of GAAP

·       Expert level of proficiency using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel and proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop.

·       Must have the ability to communicate effectively to management and professionals at all levels and with diverse backgrounds.

·       Detail oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to meet deliverables

·       Must be customer service focused.

·       Must possess the ability to coordinate, obtain and analyze data from a variety of sources, both internal and external, to the department.

·       Must have flexibility to continually respond to frequent shifts in priorities and to fulfill the requirements of senior management and department leaders.

Education and/or Experience:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

·       5-10 years of professional experience (accrual accounting)

·       Work experience for the companies with 50+ people

·       CPA or EA

·       Experience of payroll processing for 100+ employees

·       Experience in working with multiple legal entities

·       Experience in the construction industry, R&D Tax credits is a plus

·       Eager to learn and look for opportunities to improve and accepts changes
