SUMMARY

Project manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of a company's goals and vision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of assigned projects
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Prepare detailed Installation and Job Status Field Reports for assigned projects
  • Assist in shop drawing presentations and scope review meetings when required
  • Assist in Research and Development of custom accessories as required
  • Prepare project schedules regarding status of assigned projects
  • Visit job sites for: field measuring; attending project meetings; coordinating proper installation methods and procedures; problem solving; assessing special conditions
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Coordinate Mock-up installations and field testing
  • Operate specific commercial support software programs and hardware; update applicable notes and reports for assigned projects
  • Provide project closeout documentation and sign-off of final punch-list items
  • Provide technical support to business developers, customers & architects
  • Design & develop new ideas or procedures as required for department use – various custom accessories/brickmoulds/extrusions, designing & developing computer programs/form

Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • 2-4 years of project management and related experience
  • Able to work independently wand with a team
  • Open, honest and approachable
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Must possess strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to assist with hands-on installation training as necessary Highly motivated and initiative
  • Experience in Commercial Window Sales/Service or Commercial Construction
  • Proficiency in Math is a plus
  • Excellent MS Office skills required to include Excel and PowerPoint
  • ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • OSHA 30 Construction Safety Certification (can be obtained during onboarding.)
